JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform duties in the areas of cognitive and social/emotional assessment, student counseling, and consultation which maximizes student learning and welfare in a professionally sound, ethical, and effective manner DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize formal/informal assessment strategies for cognitive and affective evaluations. Demonstrate proficiency in individual and small group counseling strategies. Work in inclusionary practices collaborative model. Act as a team leader for special education building staff. Conduct individual educational planning activities with a professional service orientation toward students, parents, and community constituents. Be consistent with policies, procedures, and the Master Agreement. Promote a positive professional image of District 14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a Colorado Special Services Provider License with appropriate endorsement as a K-12 School Psychologist or be licensed by the Colorado State Board of Examiners as a clinical psychologist and willing to obtain K-12 School Psychology endorsement. Desire bilingual ability in both Spanish and English.
