Such a shame!
As a result of budget cuts and low attendance, the Georgia Music Hall of Fame will be closing next month.
The memorabilia will be moved to the University of Georgia, as well as other state colleges, but the state's museum will be NO MORE after June 12.
Here's what the museum's executive director Lisa Love had to say about it:
"Locally, the people are heartbroken."
Between the Georgia Music Hall of Fame closing, the NYC Opera in danger of closing, and the struggling Philadephia Orchestra, it's tough times for landmark/historical music-related venues in this country.
Very sad?
